Meet Tyler

I'm Tyler — the guy behind Clean Can Co.

I'm a welder and fabricator by trade. I work at my dad's shop, Clermont Iron Works, so I've spent most of my life building things with my hands. I'm used to taking raw material, figuring out how it needs to work, and making it work. That's probably why starting a trash-can cleaning business felt so natural to me. It's not glamorous work, but there's something satisfying about taking something dirty, putting some effort into it, and handing it back better than you found it.

Truthfully, this industry's been in my blood a long time. My first job out of high school was at a trash truck repair shop. An old coworker named Geary told me once that this line of work gets in your blood and you'll always come back to it. Years later, here I am — so I guess he was right.

Clean Can Co started because I wanted to build something of my own. Between work, family, and everything that comes with running a small business, I stay pretty busy. But I've always been the kind of person who needs something to work toward. Give me something that looks difficult, and I'll probably want to figure out how to make it happen.

That's also how I ended up building the website and booking system you're using. I couldn't find a system that worked the way I wanted, so instead of settling for one, I started building my own. I didn't come from a software background. I taught myself as I went, using AI as a tool and learning everything I needed along the way — scheduling, payments, automation, and all the other pieces that go into making a business actually function.

I'm still learning. A lot. But that's what I enjoy about it. I don't pretend to have everything figured out — I just believe that if there's a better way to do something, it's worth figuring out.

That's the philosophy behind Clean Can Co, too. I don't want to be the biggest bin-cleaning company around. I want to be the company you remember because the owner actually cared. I want to show up when I say I will, do the job right, treat your property like it's my own, and keep finding ways to make the experience better.

You'll probably see me doing the cleaning myself, working on the trailer, messing with the website late at night, or walking around with my dog when I'm supposed to be taking a break. 😂

It's not some giant operation. It's mine. And I'm damn proud of that.
